Yes, this is a Summer OOTD. A Melbourne Summer to be exact.
I was fortunate enough to spend one week at home during my favourite season ! And of course I got to experience all four seasons in that week, a Melbourne specialty.

I love these lightweight knits, they're really breathable so you can wear them into the warmer months and I can't wait to pop on a collared shirt underneath it when it starts to get chilly. This is my new favourite all-time favourite jumper. It's the Double Act jumper from the amazing Australian label Sass & Bide (item link under photo). Ever since I was young I used to stalk their website (too afraid to walk into their stores and talk to all the beautiful, leggy, tan, sales assistants), but it's just so damn expensive and I thought I was still too childish. But coming back this time mum gave me a few gift cards for Myer (they stock S&B) and seeing that I'm turing 21 this year, I felt like I was finally mature enough to purchase some overpriced, stylish, homegrown, Australian designer clothes !

One of the reasons for my love affair with Sass & Bide, are their embellishments. I love a bit of beading and anything shiny, and when I saw this jumper I instantly fell in love. The style is so simple and casual, but the box cut gives it a really clean, refined edge. And the pattern in the middle, oh my gosh, it's so royal, so rich and full, it's definitely a statement jumper.

I am now writing this post in my office cubicle at KFM981. I don't start class at uni for another week week PARTAAAAY so hopefully I'll be getting in a lot of posts and youtube video editings during then. Not much to update on my life I suppose, just work, work, work and waiting for uni, oh and I got a callback for this new Aussieland TV show, so fingers super duper crossed.
Only 15 weeks this semester HAHAHA, I'm already counting down till Summer holidays !
