The Nutrition Bar
121 Swan Street, Richmond VIC
GREEN SMOOTHIES | PROTEINSHAKES | ACAI BOWLS | TO GO MEALS | PRESSED JUICES
I actually visited this place mid year 2014 and was so looking forward to going again this time back but didn't get to (I was too busy stuffing my face at all of Melbourne's other clean eating Café's hehe - posts coming soon ! )
When I first went last year, this was just a small store, it kind of reminded me of a Boost Juice shop, that kind of atmosphere. I just checked out their website again and now they have stores in Windsor and St. Kilda ! Crazy to see the Nutrition Bar gaining so much attention on Instagram, and now popping up all over the place.
I'm going to say this now, but I reckon Melbourne's best take away açai bowls are at Nutrition Bar. They are the Victorian answer to Queensland's Cocobliss Superfood Bar (go stalk them on Instagram NOW !)
Their açai bowls come in so many different flavours and drown in so many toppings and not to mention they are hella gorgeous ! They also stock salads and meals, we got a chicken rice meal, which was quite a let down, due to the lack of flavour and the price. Their smoothies and juices however are equally as scrumptious, pictured here is the green, clean and lean (or something like that) with their original açai bowl. It's very close to the vegan chocolate store Pana Chocolate, so why not pop down there for a peek-a-boo too.
So if you're açai-obsessed or just wanting to start trying it out (it's super yummy and tastes kind of like a thick berry smoothie), I definitely recommend checking out this place ! There's only a few weeks of Summer left so load up on this goodness while you can Melburnians !

These healthy food will lead to healthy life and beautiful body I hope. It is very important to keep vegetables in the daily diet to stay fit and healthy. Salad bar sneeze guard are installed in salad bars to keep the salad items fresh and non contaminated. I always choose restaurants where food are protected with sneeze guards.
