Trying to catch the last few rays as we delve deeper into Autumn.
A lot of shorter people (like me) are too afraid of wearing maxi skirts/dresses, as they feel it makes them look extra short. On the contrary! I feel if taller people wear them, they look EXTRA tall, and if you find the right sort of slender cut, it will elongate your figure and make us shorties look taller. Also, I would much rather wear a maxi skirt then jeans whilst braving this colder weather.
Now you know I love dressing in white, but I do love mixing in some beiges and adding a pop of colour, such as this gorgeous sunshine yellow clutch from Oliveve (it's the best thing, my friends gifted it to me and it fits EVERYTHING.)
I feel instantly warmer dressing in these colours, and this particularly outfit just reminds of summer fields. Hence, the title of the post 'Fields of Gold', which is also one of my favourite classic songs. Definitely go have a listen to that too !
