Where
I usually just trek down (or get my mum to drive me down) to my local Safeway.
The grocery haul pictured above is all from Safeway.
There's also a Leo's Fine Food & Wine right next to it where I pick up the more harder to find organic items, like Loving Earth products, dairy free ice cream/yoghurt, health foods, etc. (it's amazing, you should definitely check it out - they have fresh squeezed OJ everyday !)

How often
I usually go with mum for a major haul once a week, but usually I like to buy fruits like 1 at a time haha. In one trip I might get some bananas, an apple and a pear. So I'll often go back for little fruit trips.
Staple items
• Fruit - bananas, strawberries, blueberries, apples
• Vegies - Safeway "ready to steam" packs cos I'm lazy LOL, spinach leaves, salad mix, corriander, carrots, kale, pumpkin, cherry tomatoes, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, avocado, frozen berries, rockmelon, melon,
• Liquids - Cocobella coconut water, Macro Organic unsweetened almond milk
• Cheese - Lactose free shredded cheese, low fat feta cheese
• Snacks - Pitted dates, skinny dip (for carrots), All Natural Bakery oat slices, Safeway's ready to go cous cous/quiona/pulses/beans salad
• Smoked salmon (zomg), chicken fillets
• Eggs
• Chobani greek yoghurt
• Condiments/Seasoning - Vegemite (LOVE IT), raw honey, turmeric powder, paprika, garlic powder
• Grains/seeds - Cous cous, quinoa, LSA, chia seeds, lechitin granules
Smoothie items
• Liquids - Cocobella coconut water, coconut milk, Macro Organic unsweetened almond milk, Juice (I like apple & blackcurrant)
• Fruits - frozen berries, fresh berries, banana, mango
• Vegies - spinach, kale (you can't taste them I swear), avocado
• LSA, chia seeds, lechitin granules
• Shredded coconut (I add it to everything)

And I find it fulfilling to be able to choose exactly what I nourish my body with and also getting creative with all these yummy ingredients.
